Welcome to Boston University’s Dance Marathon 2010’s website! On behalf of all this year’s Dance Marathon Chairs, we thank you for your interest in Dance Marathon.
For the past eight years, Dance Marathon has been the largest annual fundraiser at BU. However, we pride ourselves on raising more than just money. We donate thousands of dollars each year to two organizations that assist children and their families who are combating pediatric HIV and AIDS. We also raise awareness about the disease and how university students, faculty, alumni, and the community at large can help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and fund research efforts to find a cure.
Your participation in BU’s Dance Marathon can range from a simple online donation to dancing all night in the 18 hour event. We encourage dancers, moralers, volunteers, and visitors to browse through our website to learn more about DM’s history at BU, different ways to get more involved with DM, and information about signing up to participate in this year’s event.
Dance Marathon 2010 will take place on March 27-28, 2010 and we are confident that it is going to be THE event of the year. As always, participants can expect theme hours, prizes, free giveaways, awesome music, live performances, and PLENTY of food to keep them going all night long!
